Simple present

I go to school every day. (Her gün okula giderim)
We don’t go to school every day. (Her gün okula gitmeyiz)
Do they go to school every day? (Her gün okula giderler mi?)

He goes to school every day. (Her gün okula gider)
She doesn’t go to school every day? (Her gün okula gitmez)
Does Ali go to school every day? (Ali her gün okula gider mi?)

Present Continuous

I am going to school now. (Şu anda okula gidiyorum)
He is not going to school now.
Are they going to school now?

Simple Past

I went to school yesterday. (Dün okula gittim)
She didn’t go to school yesterday.
Did they go to school yesterday?

Past Continuous

I was going to school at six yesterday. (Dün saat 6’da okula gidiyordum)
He wasn’t going to school at six yesterday.
Was she going to school at six yesterday?

You were going to school at six yesterday. (Dün saat 6’da okula gidiyordun)
We weren’t going to school at six yesterday.
Were they going to school at six yesterday?

Present Perfect

I have gone to school. (Okula gittim)
You haven’t gone to school.
Have they gone to school?

He has gone to school. (Okula gitti)
She hasn’t gone to school.
Has Ali gone to school?

Past Perfect

I had gone to school. (Okula gitmiştim)
He hadn’t gone to school.
Had they gone to school?

Not: “Past Perfect Tense” bu şekilde tek başına değil “Past Simple Tense” ile beraber kullanılır. Fakat burada kullanımına örnek cümle olması amacıyla bu şekilde yazıldı.

He won’t be going to school at six tomorrow. (Pratikte kullanımı azdır)

I have been going to school since I was seven.(Yedi yaşımdan beri okula gitmekteyim)
You haven’t been going to school.

He has been going to school since I was seven.(Yedi yaşından beri okula gitmekte)

Has Ali been going to school?

Past Perfect Continuous

I had been going to primary school for eight years before I went high school.
(Liseye gitmeden önce 8 yıl ilkokula gitmiştim)

He hadn’t been going to primary school for eight years. (Pratikte kullanımı azdır)
Had they been going to primary school for eight years? (Pratikte kullanımı azdır)

I will have gone to school at seven tomorrow. (Yarın saat yedide okula gitmiş olacağım)
