1- An escapable obligation or a duty:



- You should do your homework in time.

— Ev ödevini zamanında yapmalısın.


2- Strong possibility, a logical deduction for present or future:

- She has attended an English course. She should be good at

English now.

- İngilizce kursuna devam etti. şimdi İngilizcesinin iyi

olması gerekir.



3- An action that will be of advantage to the doer:



- She should take some notes during the lesson.

— Derste bazı notlar almalısın/not alman iyi olur.



4- In questions with ‘ I ’ and ‘ We ’ asking for agreement or advice:



- It is very hot. Should I open the windows?

- Hava çok sıcak.pencereleri açayım mı?



5- Expresses an unfulfilled expectation or obligation with

should have + past participle:



- He should have come to the meeting. (But he didn’t)

- Toplantıya gelmesi gerekirdi/gelmeliydi. ( Fakat gelmedi )



- You shouldn’t have believed him. (But you believed)

— Ona inanmamalıydın. (Fakat inandın)



6- Description: Should + see-hear-taste:



- You should see his eyes. They are your favorite color.

— Onun gözlerine bakmalısın. Senin en sevdiğin göz rengi.



- You should see their wedding rings. They are beautiful.

— Onların nikâh yüzüklerine bakmalısın. Çok güzeller.
